A WORD FROM PASTOR WILL: Prayer for Israel
Pastor William Griffith of Evangel Pacific Ministries (above). Pastor Will's Jewish Great-Grandmother Rose fled Austria at the age of 14 in 1914.
"Join me in praying for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. As Jews have once again started fleeing Europe and the United Nations has become a soapbox for anti-Israel rhetoric, we continue to see the offensive push of radical Islamic extremists call for the total destruction of Israel and the death of Jews around the world. Any church that refuses to come to the defense of Israel is no church at all. I would remind my fellow Christians that Jesus told his disciples to 'Go to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel' first. This is crunch time for the church. This is crunch time for the United States. If we do not stand by Israel, no matter what the rest of the world says or does, then we have forfeited any inheritance in the Judeo-Christian tradition".
