Establishing a ministry model is very similar to a business model. However you will be faced with making some sound and strategic decisions that will support your future vision for your ministry.

The most import decision to make is to decide if you will accept donations as a nonprofit ministry or simply choose to be a profitable based ministry.

Secondly you will need to decide if you establish the ministry as a separate entity from yourself or if you will brand your own name for the ministry.

The most common choice is to start a nonprofit ministry under the rules of incorporation. Ministries normally require fewer legal requirements than a traditional church.

You will still need to decide which business model you will establish. Otherwise continue reading the rest of this book to establish a nonprofit ministry.
