"Our Lord humbled Himself in His ministry. He became the servant-shepherd. He went to the people and met their needs first. He didn't force them to repent, convert or even try. He met their needs and allowed His Holy Spirit to work. We need to go into this world with humility. We need to meet the needs of the people, save lives and refrain from trying to convert the world to our thinking. Let Christ shine through the way we walk, the way we live, the way we serve. Let us help alleviate the suffering and meet the needs of the people. Let the Holy Spirit do the rest. We need not do God's job for Him. He can handle it on His own. He calls us to serve. Sometimes that means just serving and keeping our mouths closed. Sometimes that just means we need to be the hands to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, nurse the sick. We will do more for the message of Christ by serving in humility than with all of the preaching we can ever do. Let's 'wash some feet' and bring love and humility to our service."
