As we debate in our church boards whether or not to buy new carpeting or a stained glass window for the sanctuaries, poverty, hunger and homelessness is on the rise. As long as we continue to bailout Wall Street and the criminal greed of irresponsible corporate moguls, this country is an accessory to the growing social injustices of poverty and homelessness. It is not a political issue. It is a human rights issue. It is a moral issue."
