GOD’S WAY TO BE OVERCOMERS

The Bible teaches us how we can be over comers, by confessing the Word of God

Let us read some Scriptures
1 John 5: 4 FOR WHATSOEVER IS BORN OF GOD OVERCOMETH THE WORLD: AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT OVERCOMETH THE WORLD, EVEN OUR FAITH.
Rev. 12: 11 AND THEY OVERCAME HIM BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, AND BY THE WORD OF THEIR TESTIMONY; AND THEY LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH.
Rom. 10: 8-11 BUT WHAT SAITH IT? THE WORD IS NIGH THEE, EVEN IN THY MOUTH, AND IN THINE HEART: THAT IS, THE WORD OF FAITH, WHICH WE PREACH: THAT IF THOU SHALT CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS AND SHALT BELIEVE IN THINE HEART THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, THOU SHALL BE SAVED. FOR WITH THE HEART MAN BELIEVETH UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION. FOR THE SCRIPTURE SAITH, WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON HIM SHALL NOT BE ASHAMED.

As believers we walk by faith in God’s Word – the Bible.
Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Rom 10: 17
To overcome the devil we need to by faith stand on redemption ground for the blood of Jesus has been shed to deliver us from the enemy’s dominion. Col. 1: 13, 14 and Ps.107: 2; and 1 Peter 2: 24
The word of our testimony is that Word that has been quickened to us or the promise we are trusting and confessing..
The third Scripture says, with the heart man believes and with the mouth confession is made and the Word will become a reality to us.
GOD IS NOT A MAN THAT HE SHOULD LIE NEITHER THE SON OF MAN THAT HE SHOULD REPENT: HATH HE SAID AND SHALL HE NOT DO IT? OR HATH HE SPOKEN AND SHALL HE NOT MAKE IT GOOD? Numbers 23: 19
In hope of eternal life, which God that cannot lie, promised before the world began. Titus 1: 2
ARE YOU fully persuaded that GOD CANNOT LIE? Rom. 4: 21 AND BEING FULLY PERSUADED THAT, WHAT HE HAD PROMISED, HE WAS ABLE ALSO TO PERFORM.

1 Kings 8: 56. BLESSED BE THE LORD, THAT HATH GIVEN REST UNTO HIS PEOPLE ISRAEL, ACCORDING TO ALL THAT HE PROMISED: THERE HATH NOT FAILED ONE WORD OF ALL HIS GOOD PROMISE, WHICH HE PROMISED BY THE HAND OF MOSES HIS SERVANT.
ARE YOU fully persuaded that GOD CANNOT FAIL?

Joel 2: 26. AND YE SHALL EAT IN PLENTY, AND BE SATISFIED, AND PRAISE THE NAME OF THE LORD YOUR GOD, THAT HATH DEALT WONDROUSLY WITH YOU: AND MY PEOPLE SHALL NEVER BE ASHAMED. Rom. 10: 11 (quoted above)
ARE YOU fully persuaded that GOD NEVER PUTS HIS PEOPLE TO SHAME?

GOD IS IN CONTROL OF ALL THINGS, ALL PEOPLES AND ALL CIRCUMSTANCES AT ALL TIMES!
GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU AND THROUGH YOU!
Phil. 2: 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
Ps. 138: 8 The Lord will perfect that which concerns me: Thy mercy, O Lord, endureth forever: forsake not the works of Thine
own Hands.
Mal. 3: 6 I AM THE LORD, I CHANGE NOT: THEREFORE YE SONS OF JACOB ARE NOT CONSUMED.
Heb. 13: 8. JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER.

These are some of the Scriptures that we fully believe and some of us have confessed them. The devil through various ways and means will try to shake our faith in the Word of God and the only way we could overcome him is by again confessing these Scriptures in spite of what the circumstances are. When we are fully persuaded, and having confessed our faith we could praise the Lord knowing that our God is able to do what He has said.
Praise brings victory and our confidence will not be shaken. Our praise is faith in action and we shall surely overcome!!

The Word says, submit to God and resist the devil!
LET GOD BE GOD FOR HE CANNOT MAKE A MISTAKE FOR HE KNOWS THE END FROM THE BEGINNING!!!
MAY HIS WILL BE DONE AND HIS NAME BE GLORIFIED!!
Abraham, David and Joseph believed God in their generations; and you and I believe the same God in our day and generation and we shall be over comers whatever may be our trial!!
PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!!

If it is sickness that you are experiencing, then confess your stand on redemption ground through the blood of Jesus and know that Jesus Christ has healed you by the stripes He bore in His Body – Confess the Word as found in 1 Peter 2: 24 and trust God for it shall be according to your faith in Him.

If the need be for finances, as a tither you could confess Mal. 3: 10, 11 and Phil. 4: 19 and be assured that God will meet the need,
so keep praising Him.

GOD IS IN CONTROL AND GOD IS AT WORK!! KEEP PRAISING GOD!!!
WE KNOW THAT ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD TO THEM THAT LOVE GOD, TO THEM WHO ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSES!!!! Romans 8: 26
