Dear Family in Christ Jesus,

Let me first take a moment to thank you for your consideration. It is my prayer that in the following days you will catch a solid glimpse of my heart and calling towards serving and lifting up the body of Christ and its members as well as our communities in this capacity. I understand the importance of employing staff that not only builds up the body and its’ members, but also challenges and encourages them to grow and deepen in their relationship with the community and with God. I consider it an honor to serve in this capacity. I have served in Christian ministry for 20 years and my salary history has been upwards of $45,000.00 annually.

 

I believe that effective ministry doesn’t just happen. The Holy Spirit leads us and calls us to

action individually and as a church body. But to be a truly effective church we

must fully utilize the gifts, skills and opportunities God gives us, and that requires

careful and intentional planning.

 

I am a soul a winner who loves reaching people with the Gospel. My desire is to reach the community where God calls me to serve as Pastor. I will bring leadership and vision for continued church growth.

 

I preach against sin, but I also have balanced preaching to instruct, encourage, strengthen and build the lives of the church family. My ministry is family oriented to help build strong Christian homes and ministries to reach the lost in the community

I believe a pastor is basically a servant who is blessed and privileged to serve in a shepherding/leadership capacity. A pastor should teach and preach the Word of God, encourage the members, to help them use their gifts and talents in a way that honors God.

I believe that a church should be separated from the world, and its vision is to impact its community in a way that honors God. I believe that any servant who leads others should provide vision and leadership that includes and engages all members.

It is my desire to reach the lost and equip the saints for the work of the ministry. I believe it is vital that we reach, preach and teach our youth the Scriptures so they will be prepared to live the life God wants for them. I see the need for families to be encouraged and grounded in the Word of God. I believe we live in a sinful world but God's grace thru His Son Jesus Christ is the only way to redeem sinful man.

 

My Ministry Style is Based on True Spiritual Formation as it is modeled by Jesus Christ and Reflected through a Lifestyle of Prayer and Relationship with God.

It is a Process which involves Three vital elements:

 

* Being with Christ

*Becoming like Christ

*Living for Christ

 

Spiritual Formation is not one or even two of these three elements. It incorporates some measure of all three parts of the definition. Spiritual formation remains incomplete when it becomes fixated on meditation (“being with”). But it also fails when it focuses entirely on character adjustment (“becoming like”). Similarly, the process falters if it simply means busyness in the kingdom (“living for”).

 

We intuitively know that authentic spiritual formation must percolate through every aspect of our lives. It flows from a three-part foundation: being with Christ, becoming like Christ, and living for Christ.

 

This is my ministry. 1 Peter 2: 9-10

 

9) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 10) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
