MY SUNDAY COMMENTARY, 6/9/2013

TOPIC:  PREPARE FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD, AND KNOW THE TIMES, AND THE SEASONS.

Matthew 24: 3-8, And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. Shall Come For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Luke 21: 11 and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Matthew 24: 33, 36-39, So likewise you, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

MY COMMENTARY: We live in a day and time that eerily resembles Noah’s days.  The rebellion against God and his word is on the rise as wickedness increases.  Every man is for himself, no love for God, and no love for humanity. Wars are raging everywhere.  We see the signs of the times in the weather patterns, and natural disasters.  Leadership from every occupation is becoming more corrupt, no fear of God. Wrong is the new right, and right is the new wrong. As the days grow darker and evil increase look up for our redemption draws close.  “PREPARE FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD, AND KNOW THE TIMES AND THE SEASONS IN WHICH WE ARE LIVING IN”!
