OUR “ON TIME” GOD!

This story of Mary, Martha and Lazarus is found in the Bible when Jesus Christ raised Lazarus from the dead after four days, in the Gospel of John and the 11th chapter. Do read the STORY.
“Four Days Late yet on Time” is a song I heard sung by many singers earlier but I was made aware of the truth this song covers when it was sung by Bruce Groves at our fund raising Carol Concert of Home Missionary Society of India, Sydney Auxiliary in 2011, I think.
Here are the words for those who have not heard it yet –

The news came to Jesus, "Please come fast",
Laz'rus is sick, and without Your help, he will not last."
Mary and Martha, watched their brother die.
They waited for Jesus, He did not come, and they wondered why.

The death watch was over; buried four days.
Somebody said, "He'll soon be here; the Lord's on His way".
Martha ran to Him, and then she cried,
"Lord if You’d been here, You could have healed him, he'd still be alive."

But You're four days late, and all hope is gone,
Lord we don't understand, why You waited so long.
But His way is God's way, not yours and mine,
And isn't it great, when He's four days late, He's still on time?

Jesus said "Martha, show me the grave"
But she said "Lord, you don't understand; he's been there four days."
The grave stone was rolled back, then Jesus cried,
"Laz'rus come forth", Then somebody said, "He's alive, he's alive!"
(Alive!, He’s alive!)

You may be fighting, a battle of fear,
You've cried to the Lord, "I need you right now", but He has not appeared,
Friend don't be discouraged, 'cause He's still the same,
He'll soon be here, He'll roll back the stone, and He'll call out your name!

When He's four days late, and all hope is gone,
Lord we don't un-der-stand, why You waited so long. 
But His way is God's way, not yours and mine,
And isn't it great, when He's four days late, He's still on time?
Yes, My God is great, when He's four days late, He's still on time,
He's still on time.

After Lazarus the brother of Mary and Martha was buried for four days, Jesus Christ comes though they sent messages to Him to come as their brother was very ill. This was a very low point of faith in their hearts for they felt the Lord they loved and trusted to help them in their crisis, let them down. On greeting Him both the sisters said, “If you were here, he would not have died.” This was the kind of faith they had in Him for they have known Him for some time and maybe witnessed, or heard how He healed many others and even raised the widow’s son when they were on their way to bury him! 
BUT JESUS YOU HAVE COME TOO LATE, FOR LAZARUS HAS BEEN BURIED FOR FOUR DAYS NOW! It was an accusation and was filled with great sorrow and disappointment

JESUS CHRIST, the Messiah they believed in and had expected a miracle for the one who Jesus loved, understood the pain and sorrow they were being put through (for no fault of their own, but for the glory of God). Being God, Jesus Christ knew what He would do but He was at work Sovereignly in these circumstances to show them a greater revelation of HIMSELF! 
JESUS CHRIST IS NOT ONLY THE MESSIAH (their faith was not misplaced) BUT THEY NEEDED TO KNOW THAT HE IS GOD MANIFESTED IN THE FLESH AND THEREFORE HE WAS FAR ABOVE THESE PRESENT CIRCUMSTANCES!! 
On seeing the sisters and all their friends weeping, He also wept for He did feel their sorrow and disappointment for it was real. How loving and understanding is our God!
No matter the circumstances JESUS CHRIST MANIFESTED A GREAT MIRACLE AND PROVED TO EVERYONE THAT HE IS THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE PRESENT WITH THEM, for they believed that on the last day, they will live again. 
At the tomb Jesus Christ called Lazarus by Name with a loud voice and dead Lazarus received life and had to be released from the grave clothes that bound him! 
LAZARUS IS ALIVE EVEN THOUGH HE WAS FOUR DAYS LATE! ONLY GOD COULD DO THAT!!

JESUS CHRIST IS NOT ONLY THE MESSIAH, BUT HE IS GOD IN THE FLESH BORN OF VIRGIN MARY (WITHOUT SIN) AND BECAME THE LAMB OF GOD TO REDEEM SINFUL MAN FROM THE POWER AND DOMINION OF THE DEVIL! HALLELUJAH!!

Are you one of those suffering believers who does not know why you are going through these hopeless circumstances that seem endless? Does your life’s circumstances seem like a mess?
Take courage beloved, no matter what the testing times are or how hopeless it seems, your GOD IS AN ON-TIME GOD! OUR GOD IS ABOVE ALL CIRCUMSTANCES AND SITUATIONS!!
Remember, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord” in Isa 55: 8 
Let God be God for He is in absolute control of all things and He promised never to leave you nor forsake you. GOD IS AT WORK WHETHER YOU UNDERSTAND OR NOT! 
Keep trusting His out-workings in your life’s circumstances for He is the glory and the lifter of your head and He will thrill you with a miracle that will be manifested in HIS TIME! Eccl.3 : 11

MAY THE SPIRIT OF GOD MAKE REAL TO YOU THAT YOUR GOD IS AN ON-TIME GOD!!
