Righteous integrity could be defined as the uncompromising, firm belief in holy things and the unwavering dedication to the desires of our God of creation. We should be like the mighty oak tree that is upright and strong, not carelessly blowing with the wind. As we look into the life of Jesus Christ we will see one thing above all others. We will see this righteous integrity in his every day walk on this earth. Through all his massive temptations he would stand upon the words of the Father, and not yield one ounce to the wiles of the enemy. We the church, are asked practically everyday to lessen this righteous integrity and replace it with something that though it may be more appealing to people, it forces the face of God to turn from us.

As Christians we must develop an attitude as to not be necessarily judgmental but not tolerant of just anything either. This world would have Christianity yield its doctrine to fit almost anything. They ask the body to develop a sense of tolerance as to please the people and be acceptable of all. But the question we should ask ourselves is this, is it pleasing to God? If what we do forces God to turn from us, then I say we are no longing helping anyone, we in reality, are condemning them by not speaking truth. Christianity is about Hope, faith and above all else love, but it is also about truth and holiness. Real Christians will teach real truth. Though truth is as the Bible declares as sharp as a double edge sword, and can bring us conviction and at times even emotional pain, may we ask ourselves this question. Do we really search for truth or simply tolerance and acceptance of the sin we want in our lives? If the answer God gives is no, are we willing to accept it and move on?

I have heard folks speak of phrases such as “holier than thou” or” their just a fanatic”. But if we are walking as Jesus did , and of course this, in itself is part of the main doctrine of Christianity in a nutshell, than we will somewhat have this attitude correct? The problem comes again, concerning the education and discipleship of young Christians and their wisdom and understanding of the real desires of Christ. No one wants to be lied to- amen. But if what we are teaching is not absolute truth than are we not in fact being lied to? I guess what it really boils down to is, do you firmly believe that there is an absolute truth, and if you do, do you believe is it found in God? I do, this is why I chose Christianity. Though I admit there are faults in the way the modern Church is ran, the truth is still found in Jesus Christ and his real body of believers. I know because God has allowed me to see things many men can only phantom to ever behold. I know, because I have felt the real hand of God.

Are we teaching those seeking truth, the real truth taught by Jesus Christ himself? Are we helping to mold new devoted and sincere Christian men and women that will not only show love to a torn world but will also work to preserve the righteous integrity of Christianity itself. To preserve the standard God intended and to stand by it despite the mighty winds that come against it. Are we truly developing, encouraging and empowering those that will soon go forward?
