It's your decision

I got up this morning about 4 in one of those, oh me. Poor me.One of those yuckky type of moods. Couldn't go back to sleep. I'm sure you have never had that happen to you. While I sat there having my own by myself pity party, jealous I guess that every one else was asleep, I know, I could hear them snoring from my office, Kelly the loudest, the Spirit of God spoke to my heart and it woke me up. This is what I heard, "You going to accept that? Is that the way you want your day to start? You can have it if you want it's totally up to you. But is that what you REALLY want?" As I sat there thinking about it, I was reminded of the several times in scripture where it says that it's up to me. It is my decision. Do I want to walk with my chin dragging the floor and feeling sorry for myself, or do I want to glory in the presence of the Lord and bask in His multiplied blessings? It's truly my decision. I made my quality decision that I wanted to bask in His presence and peace. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil 4:5-7 (KJV)

That's what I want. That peace that passes all understand to reign supreme in my heart and life. Make that quality decision today for you that you will walk in that joy, that peace. And it will be yours. It's your decision.

Amen. I love what you said about it being "YOUR DECISION"....It is amazing to me how much of what we do or allow is purley what "WE" allow or not. We must all take responsibility and quit placing it back on the LORD. Dr. Gart, you just shared such a simple BUT POWERFUL biblical principle ...but I'm afraid only a few will actually get.
