Dr. Michael Shanlian has a passion for training and mentoring leaders. He has served as a leader in the church and business world for over four decades. He is a former pastor, mentor, and currently teaches as an adjunct professor for Beulah Heights University in Atlanta Georgia www.beulah.edu. He strives for excellence that God would receive the Glory. Dr. Shanlian and his wife Susie were married in 2014 and live in The Villages located in central Florida. He and his late wife Karen were married forty years and they have one grown daughter Jessica. Dr. Shanlian has a heart for the church and its leaders. He is an expert in leadership consulting and crisis management He will inspire your leaders with practical Biblical leadership principles.


Experience: Dr. Michael Shanlian was ordained in 1976. Since that time he has served as a bi-vocational pastor and church planter, mentor, conference speaker, motivator, educator, and consultant. He is a trained gemologist and jewelry appraiser. Dr. Shanlian has formal training in leadership, theology, and counseling. He is available to speak at churches, conferences or seminars.

Passions: Leadership, Motivating, Counseling, Educating.

Interests: Family, Sports, Fitness, Gemstones, Reading.

1976 -- B.R.E. Midwestern Baptist College, Pontiac, Michigan.

2004 -- G.G. Graduate Gemologist, Gemological Institute Carlsbad. California.

2006 -- Registered Jeweler, Certified Gemologist, Certified Gemologist Appraiser (American Gem Society)

Milestones!

The year 2013 ushered in three milestones. Tomorrow my bride Karen and I will celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. By all accounts our marriage should have ended in divorce. Karen was diagnosed in 1985 with Multiple Sclerosis and loss the use of her legs.
