Leadership Questions

My wife is teaching a SS class this week on leaders. She asked me to get feedback on these "fill in the blank" questions. I'd be grateful for your responses.
1)"I am most encouraged in ministry when members of our congregation...

2)I am sometimes discouraged in ministry when members of our congregation...

3)At times it seems that members of our congregation just don't understand...

Thanks for your help.

''live the life''

====================================
"To live the life that God would will for you,
all that is asked of you is that you
be happy, be at peace, trust all things, allow all things,
and know that you remain as God created you to be."

Doctrinal Differences between Mormans and Christians (from the Blue Letter Bible)

Mormon at Your Door Doctrinal Differences The Bible

They Say: The Bible has been corrupted by errors of translation and transmission, as well as by deliberate action. (WMT; CJS; 1 Nephi 13:26-29, BOM)

The Church Says: The words of God and Jesus cannot wither, fade, fall or pass away; this Bible, the Word of God, cannot be corrupted. (Isaiah 40:8; Matthew 24:35; Luke 21:33; 1 Peter 1:23-25)

The Word

The 4 New Testament Gospels are the written history of Jesus's life on earth. My favorite is the Gospel According to John. This book is definitely different from the other 3 Gospels. In the Book of John, there is no mention of the birth of Jesus, His baptism, His temptations or the last supper. And it also does not include any of the parables written in the books of Matthew, Mark or Luke. But John writes of other events not mentioned by the other 3 Gospel writers, such as the raising of Lazarus… Continue

Many Clergy ill-prepared for retirement

Many clergy ill-prepared for retirement

By DAVE CARPENTER (AP) – 1 day ago

CHICAGO — Clergy seem an unlikely group to be facing a retirement security crisis.

They generally are looked up to by their parishioners as wise and frugal. Their pay, although modest, is enough to get by on. And they typically are provided with housing during their careers.

Yet many find themselves in a financial quandary as they approach or reach retirement, squeezed by challenges… Continue

Jesús nos ha dado su paz

Jesús nos ha dado su paz

Tenemos que proteger nuestro corazón y la mente (por mantenerlos en las cosas de Dios) porque si el enemigo toma el control de estos, tiene control de nosotros. Darles a Dios, él sabe cómo mantenerlos.

Jesus Has Given Us His Peace

We must protect our heart and mind (by keeping them on the things of God) because if the enemy takes control of these, he has control of us. Give them to God, He know how to keep them. Jesus has already made provisions for keeping our hearts and minds in perfect peace. He said in John 14:27:…

THE MIDDLE EAST CRISIS – 7 PROPHETIC SIGNS OF THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST - By Dr. Henry

THE MIDDLE EAST CRISIS – 7 PROPHETIC SIGNS OF THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST

Intro: Recap last week sermon on pre-tribulational position and review end times chart.

Matt. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, the N.T. has given us signs that will take place to usher in the consummation of the world. We also have signs in the O.T. of certain things which must be in place for the end of the age as we know it to come. For the first time in the history of the world, these signs are in some stage… Continue

Let's Remember This

We are no longer our former selves; the old man (nature) is dead! We are now washed, sanctified, and justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God (1 Corinthians 6:9-11). This applies to the ones who has accepted Christ as their personal Lord and Savior

Don't Worry, Sweat, Or Be Afraid

Don't worry, sweat, or be afraid because God got you in the palm of His hand and nothing nor anyone can pull you out. So bow down and worship Him today! Bow down to your Lord of Lord, your King of King; to the one and only true and living God. Allow the Trinity to live and operate thorough you.

About AOCI

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.

We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
