 The Blood

We all have success in our DNA.  It is a fact that our genes are a make up of our family history.  It is now possible to trace the bloodline back for generations.  I have a book that traces my family back to the thirteenth century.  The Bible tells us any and everything we need to know about all things.  If we want to know who your family was, go back to the beginning.  Follow the bloodline.  It is all in the blood.

When we are spiritually reborn in Christ our lives take on a completely new meaning.  We are a new creation.  It is like in the book of Genesis when God formed man.  There was no sin!  Pure and holy without faults God created us.

Although the book of Genesis begins with the creation of the universe, the focal point is the creation of man.

Genesis 1: 26, 27

God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.

So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created; male and female He created them.”  The Amplified Bible

Physically and spiritually the DNA does not lie.  At physical birth and spiritual birth, we are shaped in their, [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] image.  We have royal blue blood flowing through our bodies. The blood of Jesus pumps through our hearts.  With the magnitude of knowing, that the Holy Spirit resides within in us, and His blood pumps though out our being makes me want to shout.  Hallelujah!

Living Life in the Spirit

Do you remember when the Holy Spirit filled you with His holiness?  What were your feelings you felt from within?  What did you feel going on around you?  Were your senses experiencing something new?  I ask these things only because we need to understand God does not always make His presence known to everyone in the same way.  Just because one person has not experienced what you have or reversed, does not mean it was not God.  God does not love one more than He loves another.  God works with and within everyone in different ways.  As God created, and designed each to fulfill our life’s purpose, our purpose differs.  Everyone has a different purpose, mission, gifts and talents.  However, it is all for the same reason.  God and His Kingdom!

The very first time I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit I knew in my heart and soul I wanted to be as close as I could be with Him.  I desired more of Him each day.  This was from the very first moment He touched me.  This became my first and last thought of each day.  To feel the consuming fire of the Holy Spirit throughout the day is, living life in the spirit.  The work He does through and within us is amazing.  However, it does not happen over night.  Nor is it anything we can earn.

Let us look at the lives of His chosen in the Bible.  In their backgrounds as in ours, were things I know I would not have wanted known by the world.  However, God called them and us regardless of our past.  He calls and we are to follow.  They gave Him their best. Our best is what is required to give to God.

When we make the decision to give God, our life we are making a commitment of oneness with Him.  The freedom to move in and out of the thrown room of God, at any time this God gives.   This also gives the Holy Spirit freedom in our lives to do as He wills.  We gave Him our permission when we ask Him into our lives.  He owns us.  Our life is no longer ours.

Once we make this commitment with God, life as we knew it before will never be the same.  Does it get easier? No!  However, there is a lot more defenses in our favor when it comes to dealing with life.  The Holy Spirit is in the driver’s seat and God maps out all the roads in our journey.  We must also learn there are no backseat or passenger seat driver’s licenses.  So let the Holy Spirit do the driving.

The Anointing

The Father into office has officially ordained us.  We are baptizes in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit anoints each one of us to carry out His will.  The anointing we walk in carries a profound amount of responsibility.  The more responsibility we are given the more we stand accountable to God for.

When God gives us something to do, He will always give us the equipment we need to get the job done.   When God says, lay hands on the sick and call them healed in Jesus’ Name,” you had better well know it is a done deal.  God has provided the anointing, which flows through us by the power of the Holy Spirit and the authority in His’ Name to carry out the job.  He has given us His’ Word in which to stand on.  That pretty well takes care of business.  Then we are to wait in faith on God to bring the manifestation about.  There are no ifs or questions about it.  God said it, “it is written”.   This is the way we are to live our lives.  When God speaks to our hearts about something why in the world would we question?  God is God and we are not to doubt or waver.  “All good things come to those who wait upon the Lord.”  It is just all in Gods’ timing not ours.

Do you know that when we receive the Holy Spirit into our hearts that it is He that teaches us right.  We should not have to be taught by someone else what is right or wrong living.  He teaches us all things.  We are to live in Christ, never to depart from Him.  This is Living Life in the Spirit!  It is by the Holy Spirit and His anointing that we can walk and operate in the spirit at all times. Yes, we are still of fleshly bodies but we can live in the spirit. Thank You, Jesus!

Years ago, I ask someone, “Do you think it is possible to walk in the spirit all the time”?  The answered I received was, “No!“ Well, I am glad to say, the answer was wrong.  It is possible.  Gods’ Word says, “We are to live in Christ, never to depart from Him.” This is walking in the spirit all the time.  Our spirit knows when the Holy Spirit is teaching us and, as we know it to be correct.  When I asked the question it was over seventeen years ago, and I was a baby in Christ.  In faith, I stood on what my spirit felt.  This was what the Holy Spirit was teaching me.  I now know what He was teaching to be true.  Know that what God says, He is going to make happen.  Know also that it does not always happen right away.  It is all in His timing.  Most of the time there is a lot of work to done within before we could handle what God is giving.

We must also realize it is very easy to step out of the anointing into the flesh.  We are not perfect yet.  By Gods’ forgiving grace, He forgives us when we do step into the flesh.  The anointing makes anything possible.  (More post later)

God bless you!
