Our Intermediary

Jesus is the only person to come to God through, to have the things of God taught.  This is directly by God through the Holy Spirit.

Our intermediary between God and us is the Holy Spirit. God is the creator of the spirit and the person the creation. We honor God as the teacher of truth.  By not allowing, the intermediary to intervene on our behalf we remain separated from God.  This means neither knowing God nor knowing the principles and ways of God or the reality of God teaching His truth in all matters.

Jesus teaches us to come to God to receive the truth of God, directly by God.  The spirit of a person knows, whether it is of God or not. Those of God possess the Holy Spirit from God for this is the Word of God.  Those not of God possess the spirit of the world which is the word and teachings of man or religions.

The law of God is perfect and definite.  So also, the laws and principles of God rule the spirit and the mind of those of God. Thereby creating the life God teaches humanity to live. No man may possess this life unless and until we receive Jesus into our lives.  There is no other source other than from God from where humanity is able to receive this life. Consequently, each person not having received this life from God is spiritually dead to this life.  This life comes through the person the Holy Spirit.  God in His’ Living Word teaches this life.  The Holy Spirit inspires the souls of humanity.  The true image of God teaches truth by God.  We should all live our lives as, His’ Living Word.  We are Gods’ Living Word!

The only way to understand scriptures is to possess the same knowledge and understanding as its creator.  Come to God to know His truth. We are not to except man's interpretation of scripture, never knowing if it is correct and accurate.  When we place our faith in fellow man, for the interpreting and giving understanding we then place our faith in man instead of God.  Go to God and His’ Word.

Place your faith in God and received His’ truth in the knowledge and understanding He gives. This is the way Jesus taught and all true Sons of God, including Paul, as he stated in Ephesians.

Ephesians, 1:3-14, 17-23

3: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual places in heavenly places in Christ:

4: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5: Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6: To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7: In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

8: Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

9: Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure, which he hath purposed in himself:

10: That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13: In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,

14: Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

17: That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19: And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

23: Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.

Ephesians, 2:5-10

5: Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6: And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.  King James Bible

With scriptures and the works of man alone is not enough.  Again, man and their work, including the scriptures, is not enough alone to establish truth in sure knowledge and understanding in the mind. The mine must be renewed to the mind of Christ through the Holy Spirit.

(Note: The Spirit and Word taught Paul who explained he was taught by no man but from God all things from God, by revelation.

Scriptures teach people to come to God to receive the truth from God. As the scriptures purported to be, the teachings of Jesus teach the way to gain sure knowledge of the truth from God. When this gospel is preached to the entire world, then the end shall come.  His gospel, or good news, was truth concerning salvation by God, and the way a person is saved by God.)

Only Jesus saves, only Jesus performs the work of salvation, and transforming. Teaching us the principles of God so in these, humanity may walk, or live.

Life without the Holy Spirit is not life but mire existence.  Difficult situations in are lives we all have.  Without the Holy Spirit to intervene on our behalf, we fight in a world that satan takes authority over.  We fight the battles in his territory, by his rules and it is his game plan.  The battles of defeat are reoccurring because of who is in control.  When the Holy Spirit is our intermediary, everything changes.  Complete new game, new set of rules, new territory that is God’s arena and it is by His authority and all is under His control.  We have the power and authority in Jesus’ Name to go into battle with the Sword in hand.  For when we live life in the spirit, we fight in the realm of the Spirit.  Our battles are not fought by flesh but by the Word of God in the divine presence of angels, we stand in victory.

To many times we feel the need to take matters into our own hands.  We all do it; time after time, we get impatient waiting on God.  Then we make the move, without the instructions of the Father or directions of His will.  Only disaster waits at the end of our man made plan. It may be the will of the Father to do something but just wait for His timing.  Our plan is nothing compared to the plan of God.  We could be headed in a direction in which God has no intent.  When this happens then we must go through the consequences of our mistakes that could take even longer then what it might have taken if, we had waited on God.  We must remember at all times, we are the adversary’s prey in which he continually sets up counterfeit ways to go.  What we feel to be a very good decision might in fact be the very trap that has been set up for our failure.

What seems to be too good to be true might in fact be just that.  Part of satan’s plan is to prevent us from fulfilling the plan of God.  He will use what ever it takes to detour us in any other direction other than the direction he knows we are to go.  We are to wait upon God’s timing and seek Him in all things.

Perhaps the only thing holding us back from the next phase of our journey is patients.  Maybe we have yet to lean to be still in the Lord.  Do we think God is going to move us on regardless of the fact we have yet to learn to be still?  Not even because we are tired of waiting will God move us.  That is just not going to happen.  God knows all things including our obedience to Him.  He knows whom He has created.  He knows our weakness.  He wants us to draw upon Him for our strength to endure in all things.  Even in waiting.  Sometimes waiting is the hardest part of many of our journeys.  By and in faith, we wait upon the Lord.  Remember perfect is not perfect until it is prefect.  We have a long way to go to perfection.

Our intermediary is with us at all times.  No matter what we are going through, He is right beside us.  Do you remember in Daniel of the four men in the furnace?  The story is in Daniel 3:1-30

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to bow down and worship a gold image that was man made regardless of the consequences.   They knew in their spirit that this was not God’s way.  God says; “worship no other gods.” We are presented with choices in our lives.  When we know the correct way of doing things because we see with the eyes of our spirit we make the correct choices.  Even when we know, we are going against what others see as okay but we know it is not.  Example;  You have attended a church for a very long time.  You know in your heart things begin to change.  There seems to be more of man in the church then God.   The decision to leave the church with the direction of the Holy Spirit has been made and you follow His guidance.  You know there is going to be things said or reasons given for you leaving other than the real reasons.  You stand on what is right regardless of the consequences of others thoughts and remarks. Who do you think is standing right there beside you to protect you? Our intermediary is there.  Yes! The Holy Spirit is there and you will be promoted for your choice to stand up for God, instead of going along with man and his ways.  God will place you in the church He wants you in, even if He needs to relocate you.  If you are not in the church He has called you to, you will not fulfill God’s plan.

The out come of your standing up for God may not be seen right away. However, eventually you will know by doing what was right, others will follow your lead.  Just as with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

These men were thrown into the furnace for choosing not to go along with the King’s order to bow down and worship the gold idol.  When the soldier looked into the furnace, he told the King he saw four men in the furnace and one looked like an angel or a god.  When they open the door, the three men came out and the fire did not at all touch them.

Who do you think the fourth man was?  Their intermediary stood right beside them to protect them from harm.  By these men, standing up for God and His ways the King then told the people they were no longer to worship any other God then the God these men worshiped.  These three men lead and others followed.   Regardless of some ones title or the office they hold does not make it okay to go against what is right.
