"There is much to do in getting our young people off the streets and into resources to help them achieve the opportunities ahead of them. Many of these kids are addicted to alcohol and drugs, many hustling to survive. The human trafficking epidemic among our young Americans is a social slap in the face to a nation that purports to care about security. More than 40% of these kids are LGBT youth, exploited and abandoned by a society that is convinced that by ignoring the problem it simply won't exist. Our local, state & federal leaders, as well as our do-nothing legislators must take action along with faith-based and community organizations to eradicate this socio-cultural cancer. Evangel Pacific is targeting this issue and forming a strategy to combat this great human rights crisis. If Christ was walking this earth at this moment, both the church and the state would get an earful. Not only have we allowed an entire generation to get lost in the cracks, we have a system and an institutional church that looks the other way. Shame on both.".
