Reflection on a Tragedy

What happened in Colorado is proof that evil exists. The shooter was a doctoral student from a nice family. He was not a down and out type or someone who came from an abusive home. The media blames these incidents on the need for stronger gun control laws. Nobody talks about the fact that our society glorifies violence which devalues human life. We abort tens of thousands of unborn babies and do not bat an eye. We medicate ourselves with drugs, alcohol, sports and entertainment to escape the fact that we are sinners in need of a Savior! The reality is that when a nation forgets God, evil takes over. Unfortunately we will see more of these tragic events unless we get on our knees and cry out to God!
