VISION IS FOR UNITY

Why some leaders share similar ministry visions


I brought the question, because we as ministerial leaders, represent Christ's body and as part of the body, we need to be aware that: " The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ (1 Cor. 12:12)."

God share the same vision with many to promote unity and growth in the body of Christ, to manifest Christ fullness! Not for competition among those that have similar visions neither for segregation, because of denominations, style of worship, ethnic or social-economic groups.

Growing is about learning to accept each other. “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called—(Ephesians 4:2-4)”

God will share His vision through His body and through His chosen leaders, five fold ministries, congregation for them in unity “...prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming (Ephesians 4:12-14).”

That is why, I ask to all of you who are leading ministries to:

“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity (Colossians 3: 12-14).”

VISION IS FOR UNITY... UNITY WAS OUR LORD'S PRAYER

I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. (John 17:22-23)

UNITY WAS APOSTLE PAUL'S DESIRE!!!
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, 6so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 15:5)


And is my prayer that, leaders of the body of Christ can model unity so those they lead may follow their example!!!
