OBJECTIVE:
My personal mission is to make the Bible come alive so that people come
Alive for God. My vocational objective is to shepherd the local church providing pastoral
Oversight to discipleship, spiritual formation and equipping for service. My shepherd’s
Heart desire is to see the lost found.

MINISTRY EXPERIENCE
2001- Present to 2006¨´ Minister of Christian Education at Good Shepherd Church in Alexandria, VA. Preaching, teaching, equipping disciples. Led congregation from rented school-space into purchase & rehab of 20,000 sq.ft.facility. Initiated and developed ministries targeting: children, youth, men, women, at-risk/needy. Launched new ministries to disciple adults; initially targeting single adults (
Parents, widowed, divorced folks in the community), developed single parenting
Courses & Divorce Recovery program. Eventually guided all adult
Discipleship training; Sunday school; directed Virginia School of Ministry
Served on faculty in the Department of Biblical Studies and Languages; taught
Old and New Testament courses, Hebrew, Greek and Hermeneutics.
1986 - 2001 Minister of Christian Education
Provided pastoral oversight to Christian Education, Missions & Evangelism;
Developed a discipleship program for adults; expanded Small Group ministry
From three groups to 15; led short-term mission projects to Belize & Tanzania.
Serving MCC, God grew the congregation from 300 to over 450 worshippers.

Experienced at team-led strategic growth (served on staff eight years as suburban congregation grew from 1,250 to 1,900)
Proven ability to launch new ministries (in churches large or small)
Able to assume & renew existing ministry programs
served as guest teacher at numerous colleges:
(Brussels, Belgium); Dodoma Bible College (Tanzania); Belize Bible
College (Belize, Central America).

Spearheaded start-up of successful prison ministry; recruited and trained volunteers; prepared messages for scheduled meetings in multiple prisons; by the grace of God, witnessed 10,000+ conversions.

I brought the question, because we as ministerial leaders, represent Christ's body and as part of the body, we need to be aware that: " The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ (1 Cor. 12:12)."
