Stupid Is As Stupid Does!

Forrest Gump America's greatest philosopher was asked by his drill Sargent during boot camp if he was stupid because of his naivete. Forrest great line was, "Stupid is as stupid does sir!" Obviously Forrest is a fictional movie character but his insight on human intelligence was very astute. Forrest's character is fascinating. He has the IQ of a twelve year old but always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Forrest knew nothing about the game of ping pong but teaches himself…

The Hardest Word

I was watching Dr. Phil today talking with some parents whose teenagers were out of control. These teens were the quintessential 'bad girls'. They had absolutely no respect for authority especially mom and dad. They drank, smoked, stayed out late and hung out with boys that used and abused them. One of the girls demanded that daddy buy her a car or she would not go on the Dr. Phil show. When the family arrived at the set to tape the show the same daughter who demanded the car did not want to…

CHANGE

When we speak about change most of Gods children desire that change to come about from a supernatural touch from God and very few see change coming forth from the application of Gods word…

TODAY

Our future is in what we are today not what we are tomorrow, what we hear today not tomorrow,
Today is the day that the Lord has made for a revelation of Jesus Christ,
Tomorrow may be filled with a greater illumination and deeper insight but the revelation is for today so that the greater illumination is set up for tomorrow.
Today is the day for the future of tomorrow.

What would you think?

What would you think of a Christian talk radio show that would invite anyone of the faith, or not, to call in and talk about any Christian topic that may be on their heart, be it controversial or conservative? What if the show were called Christian Psycho Babel? Would you listen? Would you call? Would you sponsor it? Something more from christianpsychobabel.com! What would you think?

VICTORY

How was Abraham victorious and an over comer concerning the word that God had spoken to him

What we have makes Abraham look like he had nothing

Abraham had God on the outside

We have God on the inside

Abraham had a tabernacle built in his home, we are the tabernacle

Abraham had a word, we have a volume of words

Abraham’s promise was his son, our promise is the Son of God

And in Abraham having less he walked in more, believed for more and staggered not at the… Continue

If you we’re to lose everything that God has granted and given to you
Would you have understanding that when everything was gone that the most important thing that you will ever have in your life is still present and that is you’re relationship with Him
What is Christianity?
It is personal and intimate relationship with God and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ Continue

Revelation Chapter 7, Part 1

Rev 7:1

After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.

Lots and lots of angels found in Revelation! It might be a good thing, especially if you are a student of the Bible or a student of eschatology, the study of end time events and prophecy, to attempt to identify just who these different angels, or heavenly creatures are. After all, we will be… Continue

100% RISK FREE GUARANTEE

Is there really such a thing as a 100% Risk Free Guarantee? What does it mean to trust someone or something so much that it is 100% guaranteed not to fail? And, what does it mean to “trust” someone? Webster’s Dictionary defines trust as: “1(a) assured reliance on the character, ability,… Continue

Revelation Chapter 6, Part 3

Rev 6:9-10

When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.

Most likely under the alter of incense, God has, and is hearing the prayers of all of the redeemed. But, at this moment, He is hearing from all who have been put to death due to their faith in Jesus Christ. What a lonely cry this must be! How it must break the heart of God! This must be why He sets aside a special time to…

"I Know That You Are With Me" a poem I wrote for God

"I Know That You Are With Me"

You are my inspiration

My laughter in the rain

The sunshine in the morning

in my heart a burning flame

if I could do things over

I would start off by saying my love for you is true

I'm sorry for all the heartache that I put you through

everyday I'll make it up to you

I will live life to the fullest I'll never go astray I'll take time to smell the roses so beautiful and true

when I hold one in my hands I am holding… Continue

TURN TO JESUS

All of us have times of pain and trouble throughout our lives. Trouble can come at any moment and we can, at times, feel overwhelmed or even helpless. You may even feel that there is no way out or that you cannot possibly get through what you are going through. And, sometimes, you may even ask “Why me, Lord? What did I do to…

The "Old Man" of Romans 6

It is has truly been a joy to write and distribute this work. We have had many encouraging comments, questions, and support from readers and words fail in expressing our thankfulness and gratitude. We pray it will continue to be a blessing to many. We would love to hear from you.

To begin this fortieth year, we turn to a "tough text" that is without question one of the most important verses in Scripture…
