MY PRAYER:

========

OH ! My Gracious Father,

Thank You for continually being present within my life!

Thank You for loving me with such unconditional adoration!

Make me worthy of Your wonderful devotion toward me that I may give You honour and praise.

Cause me to have a passionate desire toward Your word that I may please You in all I do and say.

May I desire nothing on this desolate earth but the future glory with You!

I Just Can't Take It Anymore!

Sometimes the stresses of life become unbearable. Mountains of debt, sickness, failure in relationships, careers etc… take their toll on our mind and body. When the pressures heat up to a boiling point something has to give. Some people internalize these pressures and are ashamed to speak to someone because they are embarrassed. Others act out by abusing themselves with drugs, alcohol or out of control sexual exploits.…

The "it" and "that" in Ephesians 2:8 what are they?

What Does "It" and "That" Refer to in Ephesians 2:8?

THAT WONDROUS VERSE IN EPHESIANS 2:8 DECLARES: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Paul not only says that salvation is by grace . . . through faith but adds the phrase that not of yourselves. Theologian John Murray states the case very well when he comments on this verse:

When [Paul] says…

Revelation Chapter 8

Rev 8:1

When He opened the seventh seal; there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

There is much to be said about this verse, but I will limit this discussion to three points.

1) The opening of the seventh seal is a transition to the second set of judgments of which there are three sets, the seal judgments, the trumpet judgments and the bowl judgments.

2) Silence in heaven! God is all…

Paradise In A Dream

Paradise In A Dream

Once in a dream I saw the flowers

That bud and bloom in Paradise;

More fair they are than waking eyes,

Have seen in all this world of ours.

And faint the perfume-bearing… Continue

Revelation Chapter 7, Part 2

Rev 7:9-10

9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

Earlier in our study of chapter seven I made mention of another religious group who claimed that they were the… Continue

Breathe On US

There is a shift taking place on the earth and many think it is the

changing of the seasons, the wind blowing the leaves for the fall and

the rain coming to chill the air. But no one stops to listen, to look

and to feel the love of God. Oh how important it is for God to BREATHE on

US. To Breath a Fresh Anointing, Fresh Wind and Fresh Fire. God is

choosing vessels that will Go wherever He sends them. He is shifting the

old out and the new in. God loves His people… Continue

Macho Man

Wrestling fans remember a pro wrestler back in the 80's named 'Randy Macho Man Savage. He wore flamboyant outfits, outrageous sunglasses and spoke with a gravely voice. His favorite saying was, "Oh Yeahhh!!!" He was named by the WWE as the greatest champion wrestling has ever seen. He held twenty world titles and scores of lessor honors.

Randall Mario Poffo was Savage's real name. It was obvious he could not be a fearsome warrior with a name like that so a fellow wrestler told…

Radical-Fanatic-Fundamentalist

During the first half of the twentieth century words like radical, fanatic, fundamentalist were terms of endearment. A radical was the person who stood against abuse by the establishment. A fanatic was an exuberant advocate for a principle or cause. A fundamentalist was anyone that took a literal view of established truths. These words were metaphors for tenacity in believing in something bigger than yourself. These words inspired individuals to have high ideals and live a productive and…
