Words To Live By

Words To Live By..... Grace For Daily Living (2).

GRACE that teaches us how to live (Titus 2:12)....... Teaching us that denying (forsaking or renouncing) ungodliness and worldly lusts (lusts of the eye and of the heart, and the pride of life), we should live soberly, (the ability to exercise self-restraint over all passions and desires, enabling us to conform to the mind of Christ) righteously (just, without prejudice or partiality) and godly (reverence to God manifested in actions).…

Words To Live By

Grace For Daily Living.
GRACE that brings salvation........,has appeared to all men. (Titus 2:11) The power to live the Christian life comes from Jesus Christ. Through the kindness and the love of God, He makes known to the believer who abides in Christ, and spiritually experience the manifestation of Christ by the Holy Spirit,

The Law of Sin and Death

To die from anything is to cease to have any relations to it so that it has no claim or control over you.

The law condemns me to death but Christ became a substitute and died for me. The sentence of death was executed on me in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. I died with Christ. Once the law executed the death penalty it has no more jurisdiction over the one who was executed, for the law has dominion over a man only as long as he lives (Romans 7:1) Having died with Christ, I live…

Word For Today

ASK and it shall be given unto you SEEK, and ye shall find: KNOCK and it shall be opened unto you. Matthew 7:7.

This verse of scripture, seem so simple on the surface, yet so powerful in its meaning and application. and one must not fail to recognize the essence of the message. It instructs believers to ASK, SEEK and KNOCK because these three words cover the whole spectrum of prayer.

Think On These Things

THE LATTER-DAY GLORY OF THE RESTORED CHURCH:

Haggai 2:7-9

God has promised to restore His church to a greater glory. “I will fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.” It is only when the church is restored to His presence, word and will that it can possess the promised latter-day glory. Restoration to the latter-day glory is neither the idea of a prophet nor the opinion of a man – it is the word of God. And…

Think On These Things

Good days give you happiness, Bad days give you experiences and both are essential to life. A happy and meaningful life requires your continuous input and creativity. This is not merely by chance, but by choice. Your choices and actions will shape your day, for each day you are given new opportunities to choose and act, and in doing so, you will create your own unique journey.

IMAGINE:

Imagine if congregations around the world were committed to demonstrate the relational attributes of God and the tangible expressions of the love of Jesus Christ.

Imagine if all Christians were to focus on what matters most, engaged in sharing the love and hope in Jesus, practicing biblical stewardship, understood their identity in Christ, understood and live out their spiritual gifts and live in unity and connectedness.

Imagine if every…

Think On These Things

The Kingdom of God:

In Matthew 6 Verse 9,Jesus said, "after this manner pray ye"

Thy KINGDOM COME:
The KINGDOM represents the full and effective reign of God. It is the rule of God on earth in the hearts of men. This is through a process in which the new birth occurs, known as regeneration.
Thy WILL BE DONE:
This is conformity to the will of God. Man…

Change

In recent times the word change has been popularized by politicians and has become part of our everyday vocabulary, and while we accept change as a constant, the real question is a personal one, how has your life been affected by change?

The only effective and lasting change is a change toward God through Jesus Christ. The bible states in 2 Cor. 5:17 "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature." When a person comes into a vital union with Jesus… Continue
