Old hurts in our hearts must be dug out by God before we can heal; we can hide them for only so long and they will resurface.
Why not allow God to operate on you today so you can get those hurts out so you can walk in total forgiveness; if you don't forgive men their trespasses, God will not forgive you your trespasses.
Forgive and live!
In His Service,
Dr. Hooks

If you could point to the two number one problems in the church body, what would they be? In talking with over 75 organizations and ministries in the last year (with membership roles exceeding 250,000 members) we have concluded that these two subjects are that at the heart of the problem. These issues are tolerance and acceptability. Tolerance is accepting the things that are not…

Hello All:
I finally posted a picture on my page - it's of God's beautiful sunset. This photo was taken by my 12 year old daughter right behind our home (the one we are moving from shortly!). We have been blessed with living in His beautiful Oregon for many years - but now are heeding His calling and moving to Texas! As I daily walk in His deliverance and follow His guide I find just enough grace to know we are taken care of for today. No longer shall I fear tomorrow or the next.

When I was saved at the age of ten in 1963 my thirst for truth began. The Holy Spirit quickened my heart and mind to dive into God's Word and discover it's life changing doctrines. I surrendered to preach at age fourteen, graduated from Bible College at age twenty-three and pastored my first church. My search for doctrinal rightism (my term) drove me to what the book Pilgrim's Progress describes as the "slough of despond". I quickly realized that my quest was not possible…

How many times do you spend the entire day with a song playing through your mind? It happens to me a lot. Sometimes its as silly as the theme song from Gilligan’s Island or the Oscar Meyer jingle, “Oh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer wiener. That is what I truly want to be.” Sometimes, like today, it’s a lot deeper. Today the song is “Awesome Wonder” by Trent…

Have you ever noticed how you can get over the loss of something that may seem trivial, insignificant or even extremely important, only to realize the impact of the loss days or years or even decades later? Everything we own comes with some sort of memory or emotion. Examples from my own life include concert ticket stubs to my very first concert in 1972, Ten Years After, at the Ga.…

The AOCI exists as a fellowship of Spirit-filled Evangelical and Jewish Clergy for the purpose of: 1) Exalting God 2) Fellowshiping and 3) Divine Networking.
We do NOT advise, nor do we seek, to bring members out of their current denomination or ministerial association. We seek to have a platform to UNITE the Clergy of the world in ways that can benefit not only the Kingdom of God, but also the men and women who faithfully serve their communities, one another, and God.
